The Perfect Porch?

There is a lot of goodness going on here. I love the map - partly just because it's a map, partly because it's Louisiana (where I used to live) and has some Mississippi (namely Natchez, where my grandparents live), and partly because it's square. Then there is the awesome wall of texture (siding? I don't know.) And the super long bench/sofa thing? Yes, definitely. Oh, and also I love her dress.

I have never in my life seen such huge lamps....but I kinda want one....

This Works

Normally, I'm not into framing baby things (maybe because I don't have kids), but this works perfectly. I think the dark lamps, the modern drapes, and the crisp lines of the dresser provide just enough contrast to make the baptism dress pop. And I love that it has a blue background, so it really becomes the focal point.
