This is the cake I made for my niece's birthday Sunday. I was so proud of myself for pulling it off. I used this Martha Stewart recipe, but not her recommended icing (it calls for 8 - yep, eight!! - sticks of butter....I just couldn't bring myself to do it). So I made cream cheese frosting and rolled out pre-made neon fondant from Hobby Lobby for the polka dots.
Very cute. I love the twisted rope that you did along the bottom. I am sure she was very excited!

Thanks! She was very excited..and that's saying something. She's a very reserved person, but when she walked in and saw the polka dots, her face lit up. Made the whole thing worth it!
