Anthropologie in Jackson

I just got back from a trip to visit my grandparents in Mississippi. My first stop was Jackson. And it wouldn't have been complete without a trip to Anthropologie! That store never fails to impress me. This time they had some wonderful ideas!

I like this little winter scene made of blue and pale wood yard sticks!

Loving this Christmas tree made of ribbon...

And this giant ostrich made of paper rolled into cones.

And this is a cute idea if you run acroos some cool bundt pans at a junk store: hang them against a chalkboard and draw a few more to go with them. Oh yeah, that cake on the plate? Made with fabric!

Thanksgiving at my house!

This year we switched it up a bit and had Thanksgiving with my family on Sunday....at my house! This was my first year to host a Thanksgiving meal, and I think it went really well. We had enough food to feed an army!

And I got to decorate my table. Everything was mix-n-match. I found some great napkins and napkin holders at Pier 1, as well as that great table runner! We got all that Fiestaware for our wedding, and we use it all the time!

We still get to have a Thanksgiving on Thursday with Josh's peeps! So I'm looking forward to eating again! It's Thanksgiving-a-palooza!

Love it!

Pendant Lights

I went to visit Rachel this week at her NEW house! She wants a new pendant light to put over her dining table, but hasn't been able to find one. These are some of my favorites from online.

Yay! This quiz got me right!

Found this interior personality quiz, and it actually describes my style right! Although, I don't think I'll tell anyone that my style is "Mosaic." Sounds odd.

Owls on the Wall

This is so cute! I found it on Etsy. It comes as a pdf file. All you have to do is buy and print!

Katie: buy this, frame each page, and hang 'em up!

Wood Block Napkins

I just love these woodblock letter napkins I found over at Anthropologie this morning!

And I'm pretty sure that, with my collection of wood printer's blocks, I could make my own with my camera, my printer, and some iron-on transfer paper. hmm....
