I can hardly believe it, but we're finally renovating the kitchen!

Yippee! We've hired all the people and I've cleaned out the cabinets so right now our dining room looks like this...
(For real. That's our real dining room. Looks like an episode of Hoarders, huh?)
And the painters came to take all our cabinet doors, drawers, and pull-outs to their shop this morning for spraying (let's hope they bring them back! Ha!). So our kitchen now looks like this...
I was pretty shocked that so much stuff could come out of our kitchen (especially since we eat out a lot), but I don't have to put it back for about a month and a half (first the painters, then the countertops (concrete!), and finally backsplash (subway tiles!) and new cooktop). I'm already starting to realize just how much I eat in, though (and missing my microwave). It's actually a little stressful having the kitchen torn up and people in and out. I may or may not have gone down to the store and bought some cookie dough to eat....along with a bag of Pepperidge Farm cookies.
