When I was browsing around for some inspiration earlier this week, this first barn caught my eye. I'm not such a huge farmgirl, though I do enjoy visiting the sheep and horses, but I love beautiful barns. They always make me think of high school, when Josh and I started dating. His family actually had a barn in their front yard - it's where I first met his sister. But I can't recall ever seeing a round barn in person. I did some research and found that they were built as a less expensive and more spacious alternative to the traditional four-sided barn. They allowed for more storage, and some were even used to break horses in the winter. But I wouldn't mind turning one into a house, though it would be quite challenging to decorate....

I think they look like sanctuaries...they feed my heart.
Sandi, they do. I hadn't thought of that, but you are absolutely right. They touch my soul.
I didn't know these existed!!! Awesome.
They remind me of the Assembly of God Church in Russellville.
