Painter's Drop Cloth Pillows

I spent the better part of this afternoon finishing up the throw pillows for the beach house. But I'm finally done! I made these to fit a standard size bed pillow (good for taking a nap on the sofa!). I chose images I liked from vintage printable (in this case, they all related to the area where the house is), printed them on iron-on transfer paper, and...well...ironed-on.

I got these FABULOUS buttons from A Remark You Made on etsy.

Seriously, they are awesome. Made from fallen tree branches, they are ultra chunky and full of character. And, of course, the fabric is painter's drop cloth picked up from Lowe's.

Awww. Thanks, y'all! And Cathryn, that's so sweet, but seriously, if you know someone who wants something have them e-mail me. I willing to give it a go! :)

These are really beautiful. I have black and white check couches that I'm making pillows for (out of drop cloth material) and yours are my absolute favorite. Hopefully, mine will come out as nice. Thanks so much for giving your sources for buttons and graphics!

Thank you so much, Tanya! When you make them, leave a little extra room. They tend to shrink a little when washed.

Absolutely stunning, I love this. Did you use a ink jet printer, and paper?

I have been looking for a laser printer transfer but it isn't easy to find.

Thank you! Yes, I used inkjet, but if you're looking for laser paper, try bestblanks.com (http://www.bestblanks.com/transferpaper_home.html). That's where I got my oversized paper for these pillows, and it's worked out fine. But definitely do a practice piece first.
